another example of reproduction art

Here is an example of production art, ("The Girl with the Pearl Erring", I think), where the copies are quite different from the original. This could be on accident (it's hard to get a good replica), or it could be on purpose. Here it seems to be on purpose, and to serve a purpose, because the first one is the original (or at least a good replica of the original -haha), the second is changed to fit the American film adaption (with the lead actresses face on it), and the third portrait seems to portray another ethnic group and therefore, culture (though I guess that last part could be true of all three).
